We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a locum tenens urgent care opportunity in Waycross, Georgia. This is a great opportunity for a provider who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is looking for consistent, ongoing work.
Position Highlights- Locum tenens assignment
- Minimum of 3 shifts per week required
- Ongoing, consistent schedule
- Supportive clinical team and efficient workflow

- Active Georgia NP or PA license
- Current GA DEA (required)
- Prior urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage a broad range of acute cases
- Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
- Evaluate and treat patients of all ages
- Manage acute illnesses and minor injuries
- Perform procedures such as suturing and splinting
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications appropriately
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
