Senior Accountant

We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This is a busy, high-responsibility role. You'll manage the month-end close for multiple companies, so strong organization and steady performance under deadlines are essential.

In return, you'll work closely with a supportive Controller and accounting team, play a key part in our accounting operations, and see the impact of your work every month. • Manage the month-end close for multiple companies

• Coordinate accounting functions and programs

• Prepare financial analyses and reports

• Prepare revenue projections and forecast expenditures

• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts

• Assist with annual audit preparation

• Investigate and resolve audit findings and account discrepancies

• Prepare payroll tax, sales tax and special tax returns

• Help improve accounting systems, programs and procedures

• Perform other accounting duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

• 5+ years of accounting experience

• Solid working knowledge of GAAP

• Strong financial analysis skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel

• Clear written and verbal communication

• Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple deadlines

• Initiative and follow-through: you keep your work moving and raise issues early

• Experience with US Computers software is a plus

• Location: On-site in Broussard, Louisiana

• Reports to: Controller

• Pay: Competitive, based on experience
