Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Multi-Specialty group seeks a Physician Assistant to work directly with two trained Orthopedic Surgeons. This position includes two days in the OR and three days in the clinic. Cases include: shoulders, elbows, knees and total joints. The group has their own MRI, Physical Therapy Center and ASC. The Physician Assistant would run an orthopedic clinic parallel to the doctor. Physician Assistants need to be self-starters that are self-motivated! The position is Monday to Friday (40 hours per week). This opportunity offers a strong work/life balance.

Responsibilities include: H&P s, patient evaluation and education, refers for diagnostic treatment, first assist, review lab results, write scripts, treat basic fractures, joint injection and aspiration, hospital rounds and call within a clinic setting.

Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified, have an orthopedic rotation and should have a connection to the region. The location is within a couple of offices within the Morristown, NJ location and surrounding areas.

Compensation: Salary is open (depending on experience), plus a bonus. Excellent benefits package!
