Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant Locum Need In RI Coverage Dates- Start Date: 11/23/2026

- Full-time coverage
- Temporary privileges available for an earlier start
- Monday Friday
- Approximately 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
- No call
- Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient coverage
- Daily inpatient rounding: Approximately 1 2 hours depending on consult volume
- Acute Care Hospital
- Hematology/Oncology
- Mix of outpatient and inpatient care
- Hem/Onc team onsite in clinic
- Charting: Approximately 80% paper / 20% Meditech
- Outpatient: Approximately patients per day
- Inpatient: Varies based on consult volume
- Hematology/Oncology clinic coverage
- Daily inpatient rounding
- Inpatient consults
- Biopsies as needed
- Board-Certified Physician Assistant
- 2 years of recent Hematology/Oncology experience preferred
- New graduates may be considered if they completed a Hematology/Oncology rotation
- Rhode Island license required; facility will wait for licensure
- DEA required
- Rhode Island CSR required
- Estimated Rhode Island PA licensure timeframe: 4 8 weeks
