Locum Physician Assistant - Cardiothoracic Surgery
Position Type: Locum
Specialty: Physician - Surgery Cardiothoracic
Location: Flagstaff, AZ
Shift: Day, Night; 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM plus call
Start Date: 10/24/2026

Position Details: 4 days per month, 7a-3p plus call 3p-7a; 10-15 CVICU/step down patients plus 1-2 surgeries
Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric
Setting: Hospital
Responsibilities: Cardiothoracic surgery; proficient with EVH
Required Procedures: Temporary pacemaker removal, chest tube removal, IABP removal, A-line placement
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: Surgeon
Days Per Month: 4 days
On-Call/Weekends: On call required; 24-hour call and night call

Submission Requirements:
- AZ license required to submit
- 3 years in cardiothoracic surgery with EVH
- ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association)
- NCCPA certification or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner requirements
