Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking Assistant Scientists to support a mix of R&D and Quality Control laboratory operations in Cincinnati, OH. These scientists will generate and review analytical test results, laboratory records, and supporting documentation while ensuring the data is accurate, complete, traceable, and compliant with approved methods, specifications, SOPs, GMP requirements, and Good Documentation Practices. This is a strong opportunity for early-career laboratory candidates. The team is open to candidates with a BS degree and less than one year of experience, as well as candidates with an Associate degree, certificate, or high school background who bring at least one year of laboratory experience. Academic laboratory experience can count for entry-level candidates. The emphasis is on foundational, trainable lab skills such as general chemistry techniques, pH meters, analytical balances, pipettes/glassware, laboratory safety, and good documentation practices. HPLC, GC, and dissolution testing experience are valuable but are not required for the hiring eventSkills mentioned in this job
